Order for a Comee.
to consider of Laws
relateing to the
poor

It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby
recomended and referred unto his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for this County Inhabiting within
Holbourn and Finsbury Divisions in this
County or any three or more of them to assemble
and meet together at Hicks hall in St. John
Street in this County on Wednesday the Thirtieth
day of May instant at ten of the Clock in the
forenoon and at such other times and places
as they shall think fitt to Consider of what
Laws are now in force relateing to the Poor
of this Kingdome, and to Certify their Opinions
touching the same unto his Majestys Justices
of the Peace at the next Generall Quarter
Sessions of the Peace to be holden for this
County, And the Cryer of this Court is required
to give Notice to the said Justices of the Peace
that they are desired to meet at the time and
place aforesaid for the purpose above menconed,

After our very hearty Commendations to your Grace.
Whereas his Majesty hath received repeated and
in questionable Advices that several of his
Subjects forgetting the Allegiance they owe to his
Majesty as well as the natural Love they ought
to bear to their Country, have entred into a Wicked
Conspiracy in Concert with Traitors a broad for
raising a Rebellion in this Kingdom in favour of
a Popish Pretender with a Traiterous design to
Overthrow our excellent Constitution in Church and
State And Whereas by an Act of Parliament made
in the first Year of the Reign of the late King
William and Queen Mary Entituled an Act for the
