I do hereby Certify, That a Commission or Writ of
Dediimus Potestatein, under the Great Seal of GREAT BRITAIN,
bearing Date at Westminster , the eleventh Day of July
instant directed to Joseph Baldwin< no role > Esquire
John Pensam< no role > and James Abbott< no role >
Gentlemen , empowering them jointly or severally to receive the
Oath of John Elliot< no role > Esquire
One of the Keepers of the Peace in the County of Middlesex
for the well and faithfully executing that Office, according to a
certain Schedule to the said Commission or Writ annexed: And
also the Oaths specified in an Act of Parliament passed in the first
Year of WILLIAM & MARY, late King and Queen of ENGLAND,
the Tenor whereof is to the said Commission or Writ Also annex-
ed, is with a Certificate thereon indorsed, under the Hand of
I Pensam One of the said Commissioners
certifying that the said John Elliot< no role > did, on
the
this dayDay of duly take the
said Oath before him, as One of the said Commissioners, re-
turned into the Office of PETTY BAG, in His Majesty's High
Court of Chancery , and there remains filed amongst the Records
