Informations taken this Twenty sixth day of July
1762 on an Inquisition on View of the Body of George
Dodd
< no role > lying dead in the Parish of St. Margaret in the
City of Westminster .

William Hutchins Martyn< no role > Servant to Mr. Thomas Vokins< no role >
of the Great Sanctuary Westminster Tallow Chandler , on his Oath
saith, That on friday Evening last the 23d. day of this Instant abt. 10 o Clock
he and George Dodd< no role > the Deced went to Bath themselves
in the River Thames at a Place called Parliament Stairs
in the Parish of St. Margaret Westmr . says thataboutDeced
swain from the Shore, and in about a Minute and an half
afterwards called out for Assistance & desired that a Bout
might set off, but Depont. could not Swim and therefore cod,.
give Deced no Assistance, says that he did not see deced
afterwards untill this Morning when he was found drowned
