. on his Oath saith That a little after Twelve o'Clock on Sunday Morning last
Dept. being at his Stand by the Door of the Red Lyon
Ale house
in Parliament Street
, he head a Norse
and Disturbance in said Street at the Corner of
little Bridge Street
upon which he went there
and saw the Deced with a Man, and another
Man near them at Mr. Cotton's Door, Says that he
desired the Deced to go about her Business to which
Deced Answered that she would not go till pleased
Says that he told Deced that he would take her to
the Watch house, and the Man with Deced said that
Dept. shod. not while she was with him, and Deced
called the [..] Dept. many Names and abused him
Says that when he was calling half hour after Twelve
he saw the Deced standing alone in the same Place
and desired her to go about her Business or he would
take her to the Watch house, to which she Answered
that she would go when she pleased and would slap
her face if he offered to touch her, Says that he
returned to his Box, and very soon after Deced
walked up Parliament Street
alone, and Dept.
took hold of her, saying that he would carry her
to the Watch house, Deced being at first unwelling
to go but afterwards walked quietly with Dept. and
Hawkins another Watchman to the Watch house belonging to the
Parish of St. Margaret,
where he charged her with
abusing him on his Duty, and being disorderly at half
hour past Twelve on Sunday Morning. Says that he left
the
