Informations taken this Twentieth
day of Septr. 1779 at the Parish of St. Margaret
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of
Middlesex upon an Inquisition touching the
death of John Tilley< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

Edwd. Morse< no role > of Little Earle Street Seven Dials in
the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields Taylor on
his Oath saith That the Night about half past
six o'Clock Dept. was coming along Parliament
Street Westmr. when he saw Dr. Warren's Chariot
drove along by the Coachman and John Tilley< no role >
the Deced who was Footman riding behind the
Carriage, Says that he walked along so far
as the Ax and Gate and in the House there he
saw the Deced dying, having fallen from
behind the Chariot and the Wheel had passed
over him,asDept. was informed.

Chairman on his Oath saith That Yesterday
afternoon Dept. was sitting at the Door of the
Ax and Gate in the Parish of St. Margaret
Westmr . when he heard some Persons cry out
that aPersonMan was dropped, and
immediately a Chariot came out of Parliament
Street into the Broad part of White Hall
Says that the Coachman immediately
stopped the Horses, and went back to the
Deced, who was footman and had fallen
from behind the Chariot as Dept. was informed,
