appointed pursuant to an Act of Parliament in the Vestry
Room of Saint Clement Danes
the 16th. October 1772

Proposed and Agreed that Mr. Stichall take the Chair.
The Minutes of the last Meeting read and confirmed.
The Clerk having laid before this Committee a Bill of Alexander Anderson< no role >
amounting to £40 for Cleansing this Parish (exceptedthe Streets Etc. Paved under the
Optional Clause) from Midsumer to Michaelmas last Ordered that the same
be transmitted to the Commrs. for Payment and for that purpose this Committee
signed the same.
Ordered that Mr. Kennett and Mr. Ireland be desired to draw on the
Banker for the Sum of One Hundred Pounds to be paid to the Account of the Commrs.
for repairing Cleansing and Lighting.

with this
Committe for Paving the Carriage ways of Beaufort Buildings
Boswell Court &
several other places desiring three Hundred pounds on account of their Contracts and
the Supervisor to this Committee certifying the said Meredith and Lovett had done
more work that to that amount Ordered that it be recommended to the Commrs.
to pay the said Meredith and Lovett One hundred and fifty Pounds on account for
which purpose this Committee signed a Certificate to the Commrs.
Mr. Robert Campbell< no role >
a Contractor
with this Committee for paving the Foot
and Carriageways of Holles Street
Houghton Street and several other places having
applied to this Committee and requested payment of Four hundred pounds more on
account of Work done under such Contracts and the Supervisor to this Committee
Certifying the said Mr. Campbell had done more work than to that Amount Ordered
that it be recommended to the Commrs: to pay the said Mr. Campbell one hundred and fifty Pounds on account for which purpose this Committee
signed a certificate to the Commrs.
Resolved that this Committee will borrow One thousand Pounds in
Addition to the Money already resolved to be borrowed at four and half per Cont. It is therefore
Ordered that an Advertisement be inserted in the Paper and that this Committee
