At a meeting of the Committee for Paving Elected and
appointed pursuant to an Act of Parliament in the
Vestry Room of Saint Clement Danes the 15th day of
April 1774

The minutes of the last meeting read and Confirmed

Ordered that the Commissioners for Paving Westminster Etc
be requested to give this Committee an order to advertised and
Contract for Cleaning their Parish (except the Optional Streets)
Term of Three years from Midsumer day next.

Mr. Wallis and the several other Gentlemen to whom several
Places were by Order of the 30th of March last referred for
Inspection now Report That little Stanhope Street wants
be now Paved with a mine such Guernsey Stone but that
nothing can be done in Stair Court til the Ruins on the
West side are Rebuilt except a Lamp at the end of the
Passage from Butcher Row That some bad Stones in
Newcastle Court wants Repair and a Grate to be put in the
room of a Sink Stone at the upper end of the Court next the
Brokers going into Newcastle Court That the Channell at the
bottom of the Court be raised to Convey the Water the back of the
Barbers House through his Yard-That some small Repairs
are wanting the upper end of Homlock Court and that the
Passage thereof into Shire Lane be taken up and delayed
and that a Lock Post be put at the bottom of the Passage going
into Shire Lane That a few loose Stones want Repair in Yea [..]
Court and that a Stone at the Bakers in Carey Street by the
Coal hole be altered-That Cooks Court wants to be New Paved
