Rebecca Cowee< no role > the Widow of John Cowee< no role >
Maketh Oath that she was lawfully Married
to her said late Husband at the Parish
Church of St. Mary at Newington in the County
of Surry sometime in the Month of May 1751
and that her said late Husband about Forty
Eight Years ago rented a House of Twenty
Pounds & Year or thereabouts in Charles
Street in the Parish of St. Margaret in the
City & Liberty of Westminster known by
the name or Sign of the Hampshire Hog &
lived there about Sixteen Years, that her
said Husband did not after he quitted the
said House rent any House or Lodging of
the Yearly Rent or Value of Ten Pounds
or pay any Poors Rate or Kings Tax or do
any Act to her knowledge or Belief to gain
a Subsequent Settlement, And that she has
not done any Act to gain a Settlement
in her own right since her said Husband
Death
