Informations of Witnesses taken at the Parish of
Christ Church in the Ward of Farringdon
within in London aforesaid the 7th. day of
February 1789 on View of the Body of
Henry Joseph< no role > then and there lying Dead

William Wright< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of
Newgate maketh Oath and saith he hath known the deceased
Henry Joseph about four Weeksthat he was also
a Prisoner in the said Gaolthat the Smith into thedeceased was brought Sick Ward
Where Dept. attends on ThursdayNight lastafternoon about four OClock very ill [..] that
the Surgeon of the said Gaol ordered Dept. to give the deceased
an Enmetic and a Pitt which he left for that purpose that
Dept. accordingly gave the deceased the same that the
deceased was quite sensible at that time at nine OClock
Dept. went to where deceased lay that he appeared to be
during or Sleeping at that time that about twelve OClock
Dept. heard the deceased groan very much that he went to
him that Dept. spoke to him but he distant seem sensible
that Dept. then thought the deceased was dyingthat
about two OClock the deceased departed this Life
