Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say at the Parish of Christ Church in
the Ward of Farringdon within in London
aforesaid the 21st: day of June 1790 on view of
the Body of William Clark< no role > then and there
lying Dead

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of Newgate maketh
Oath that he hath known the deceased William Clark< no role > between five and
six Monthsthat he was also a Prisoner in the said Gaol-that he
hath been in the Sick Ward where Deponent attends about a fortnight
very ill in a decline or Consumption which he had been afflicted with some
time before-that he continued to get worse daily until Saturday
Morning last (the 19th instant) when he departed this Life-that he was
attended by the Surgeon of the said Gaol and Deponent has no doubt
the aforesaid disorder occasioned the deceds death.
