Depositions of Witnesses taken at London, that
is to say, at the Parish of Christ Church in the
Ward of Farringdon within in London aforesaid
the 10th: day of August 1790 on view of the body of
Robert Walpole< no role > then and there lying dead

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of Newgate
maketh Oath that he hath known the deced Robert Walpole< no role > about
five Weeks that he was also Prisoner in the said Gaol that he
hath been in the Sick Ward where Deponent attends for five days
very ill with a Fever that he continued very ill until Sunday
Morning last the eighth instant when he departed this Life that
he was attended by the Surgeon of the said Gaol and Dept. has
no doubt the aforesaid disorder occasioned the deceaseds death
