Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say, at the Parish of Christ Church in
the Ward of Farringdon within in London aforesaid
the 26th. day of August 1790 on view of the Body
of Peter Shelley< no role > then and there lying dead

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of Newgate
maketh Oath and saith that he hath known the deced Peter Shelley< no role >
between six & seven Months that he was also a Prisoner in the said Gaol
that he hath been in the Sick Ward where Deponent attends since the
20th. day of July last very ill in a decline that he continued to waste away
dailey until Tuesday Afternoon last the 24th: instant when he departed
this Life that he was attended by the Surgeon of the said Gaol
and Deponent has no doubt the aforesaid disorder occasioned the
deceds death.
