An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London that is to say at the
parish of Saint Bartholomew the less in the ward of Farringdon without in London aforesaid
on the eleventh day of March in the thirty third year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King defender of the faith and
So forth before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for the City of London
and Borough of Southwark on view of the Body of Charles Nurse< no role > now here lying dead by the Oath
of William Morss John Camp< no role > William Pettit< no role > Thomas Meers< no role > James Stock< no role > Samuel Bently< no role >
Daniel Miller< no role > Thomas Taylor< no role > Henry Pyrke< no role > John Bush< no role > Ralph Monk< no role > Richard Benson< no role > Henry
Wetherhead John Blackett< no role > John Wynn< no role > & William Fountain< no role > good and lawful men of the
City of London aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn and Charged to inquire for our
said Lord the King when how and in what manner the said Charles Nurse< no role > came to his
Death say upon their Oath that on the eighth day of Marsh in the thirty third year
aforesaid at the parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex the said Charles Nurse< no role > being a glazier
and employed in repairing a certain Window in the first floor of the dwelling house of Charles
Willmthere situate it so happened that accidentally casually and by misfortune
he the said Charles Nurse< no role > fall from the said Window to the ground in the
yard of and belonging to the said dwelling house whereby the said Charles Nurse< no role > did then
and there receive one mortal wound [..] bruise and contusion in and upon his head of which
said mortal bruise and contusion the said Charles Nurse< no role > at the said parish of Saint Giles
in the fields in the County aforesaid and at the before mentioned parish of Saint Bartholomew the
less in theparish andward aforesaid in London aforesaid did languish and languishing
did live and at the parish last aforesaid in the ward aforesaid in London aforesaid on the said
eighth day of March in the year aforesaid of the said mortal bruise and contusion did die And so
the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said Charles Nurse< no role > in manner
and by the means aforesaid was accidentally killed In Witness whereof as well the said
Coroner as William Morss foreman of the aforesaid Jurors in their presence have to this
Inquisition set their hands and seals the day year and place first above written
