Depositions of a Witness taken at London
that is to say, at the Parish of Christ Church
in the Ward of Farringdon within the London
aforesaid this 11th. day of January 1794 on
view of the Body of Edmund Carwell< no role >
now here lying Dead

Joseph Burford< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of
Newgate maketh Oath that he hath known the deced
Edmund Carrwell< no role > since the 9th. day of Decemr. last that
he was also a Prisoner in the said Gaol that he came into
the Sick Ward on thatsixDay ill with a Fever and
Consumption-that getting letter he was discharged
out of the Sick Ward on the 2nd. instt. that afterwards again getting worse
he was brought into the Sick Wardagainon Thursday
last the 9th. instt. very ill with the aforesaid Complaints
that he continued very ill and to get worse until last
Night about eleven OClock when he departed this Life
that he was attended by the Surgeon of the said Gaol
and Dept. has no doubt the aforesaid Complaints
occasioned the deceds Death.
