Deposition of a Witness taken at London
that is to say, at the parish of Saint Sepulchre
in the Ward of Farringdon without in
London aforesaid the 29th day of January
1794 in view of the Body of James Pinder< no role >
now here lying Dead

William Todd< no role > a Prisoner for Debt in His Majestys
Gaol of Newgate maketh Oath that he hath known the
deced James Pinder< no role > about fourteen weeks that he was
also a Prisoner for Debt in the said Gaol-that the deced
hath been ill about a Month with a violent Cold and a
shortness of Breath that he was an aged Man and
Dept has heard him say he was between Eighty five and
eighty six Years of Age-that he has kept to his Bed
almost the whole of the last Month-that he continued
to get worse daily until last Night between four and
five OClock when he departed this Life-that he was
at times att ended by the Surgeon had as much Care
taken of him as possible was very well attended by
his Friends and Dept. has no doubt the deced death
wasattendedthe effect of Old Age and a natural decay
of Nature
