Informations of Witnesses taken at the
parish of Saint Gregory by Saint Paul in the
Ward of Castle Baynard in London the 5th. day
of February 1794 on view of the body of Benjamin
Pings

William Wenlock< no role > of Exeter Court in the Strand
Seal Engraver maketh oath that last Monday evening
atent six oClock Dept saw several persons bringing the
deced out of the passage to the put of the little Theatre in
the Haymarket , & says they carried him to the shop of Mr
had a asser of the Haymarket Druggist Says at that time there
was not the least appearance of any life in him, & he
appeared in Deponents opinion to have been suffocated. That a
Gentleman in the Shop on dear owed to let him blood in both of
his Arms but he did not bleed at all Dept says he remained with
him full half on hour he believes during all which time he
seprs of life appeared in the deceased. Dept says a great
crowd of people was about the Theatre .
