in the thirty fourth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the grace of God of Great

of Southwark
who being no where
duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what
manner the said man unknown came to his death say upon their oath that the said Man
unknown then lately before accidentally casually and by misfortune fell into the River Thames
and in and with the waters of the said River
Citywas then and there suffocated and drowned of which
said suffocation and drowning the said Man unknown did then and there die. And so the
Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said Man unknown in manner
and by the means aforesaid accidentally casually and by misfortune came to his death and not otherwise
