Informations of Witnesses taken at the parish of Saint
Botolph without Bishopgate in the Ward of
Bishopgate without in London the 20th. day of
March 1795 on view of the today of Thomas
Quilter

Thomas Sapwell< no role > of Qarrors Rents Bishopsgate Street
Inspector of the Watch of the parish of Saint Botolph witht. Bishopgate
maketh oath that last Tuesday night a little before preber Depts
being informed a Man dead been murdered & layed in the street
he went to the place where he was informed the deced was lying, & then
found the deced lying deadHe had a Whip in his handthis
head appeared much hurt, & his scull fractured as if as Dept then
that a wheel had passed over his head. Says the deced was taken to the
Workhouse

John Que< no role > Servant to Mr. Yandell of Gloucester news
Shoreditch maketh oath that last Tuesday might be wentout
with the deced & two other fellow servants to & same empty
some prieys in Crud Church lane That about half past eleven
one of the Cart they took with them was piller & the deced being the
driver were with it so home to empty the Cart & return
That about twelve o'Clock Dept followed with & second load in
anor Cart & as he was joing long Bishopgate street Dept was told
the deced taken killer, & Dept went & saw him lying dead in the
street .

Severely taken & sworn the 20th.
day of March 1795 before me
