Informations of Witnesses taken at theDwellingLodge of the House of
Correction Clerkenwell Bridewell
in the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in the County of
Middlesex on Wednesday the first day of
March 1786. Before Edward Umfreville< no role > Esquire
one of his Majesty's Coroners for the said County touching the
Death of Sarah Cooper< no role > then and there
Lying Dead as follow.

Ann Davis< no role > a prisoner in the said House of Correction
and Nurse of the Sick Ward upon her Oath Saith.
That the deceased Sarah Cooper< no role > hath been confined
in the said prison about Five months and when
was first brought in was so exceeding ill of the
Veneral decease as to be immediately put
into the Sick Ward under this Deponents Care.
in which state she has continued until
Monday last when She died And Deponent
verily believes the disorder from continuing so
great a length of time had encreaced to that
Violence as totally to not of the Body of the
deceased although every possible Care and
attention has been shewn to the deceased to
recover her if [..] in the power of Medical skill
