On the Prosecution of Wm. White< no role >
For Felony

Solomon Solomons< no role > the above Defendant Maketh
Oath and Saith That Isaac Hart< no role > is a Material
Witnes for this Deponent on his Tryall upon the
above Prosecution and without whose Testimony he
Cannot safely proceed to Tryall And further Saith that
thatpresently after his being Committed and up to
Monday that he Caused diligent Search and Enquiry to be
made after the said [..] Isaac Hart< no role > and used his utmost
Endeavours to find him in Order that he might be a Witness
for this Dept. at this Session on the above Prosecution but
notwithstanding this Deponents utmostEndeavours he has not
been able to know or find out where the said Isaac was
untill the said Monday When this Deponent was Informed
and not before and which Information this Dept. believes
to be true That the said Isaac Hart< no role > then was at Newcastle
in Northan Collard and not expected in Town for three Weeks
And further Saith that he verily believes he shall be able to
have the said Isaac Hart< no role > here at the next Session as a Witness for him Dept and will use
his utmost Endeavours for that purpose if this Honourable
Court will postpone the Tryall till then
