And this Informant Francis Surrey< no role > for himself
saith that this day Sen'night he get up at 3'o Clock
in the Morning & in the Place called the Rope Walk
near little Queen Ann Street in the Parish of St My
Le Bone he saw four Men and three Women
& two of the Men & three of the Women now Present
who call themselves James Santuss Frances
Jennings< no role > Frances Allen< no role > Sarah Beeks< no role > & Elizabeth
Jones< no role > were five of the said Persons and this Informt.
having had same Powls stole from him the Night
beforehe Suspetted they were the Persons who had
Stole them upon which he pursued them & saw
a Bundle tied up in a Check't Apron in the
Hands of James Santuss< no role > & saw him give it to
Frances Allen< no role > & Imagining that his Fowls
might be tied up in the Bundle he overtook the
said Frances Allen< no role > & told her she had got his
Fowls who say'd she had got Nothing but her
own things upon which he let her goe & Pursued
James Santuss< no role > & James Jennings< no role > & took them
But before he took them he saw them & anr. who has made his Escape go to a
Dunghill & this Occasioned this Informant to
take that the two back to the Dunghill upon Examining
of which Dunghill he found the Silver Table
Spoon Etc Waiter now Produced

And this Informant William Hammerton< no role > for
himself saith that he is a Watchman of the
Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields that a little
after 3'o Clock in the Morning of this Day Sen'night
he was called to the Assistance of the other Informt
Francis Surrey< no role > who was then Pursuing two
Men at which time he saw three Women running
towards the Middlesex Hospital this Informt
& the said Francis Surrey took the two Persons
now present Jas. Santuss< no role > & James Jennings< no role >
