that either that day or the next one Alexander Carlton< no role > came to this Informant
& altered the engraving of the said Watch Case by adding more engraving
to it and the said George Gammon altered the Inside Work of the
said Watch which was a dumb Repeater, that the said George Gammon
then delivered the said Watch to this Informant, that during this
Time her husband was out of Town but when he came home
he pawned the said Watchthat she has at several times seen
the said George Gammon file out the Maker's Names of several
Watches at this Informant's house which Watches this Informant
believes were stolen, that the said George Gammon at one time took
six Silver Watches from this Informants in order to sell and said he
had eighteen pounds bid for them, but he did not sell them
that some Months ago one John Harding< no role > and one Bryant who is since
Transported brought to their Informant [..] use a Doz. White handled know
and forks in a Mahogany Case and six Silver Table Spoon and a Silver
Soup Spoons which the said George Gammon bought of them for about
four Guineas or four Guineas and a half and that one James who was
then Servant to this Informant and Eleanor Rogers< no role > who was also a Servant
there know something of that Matter

[..] this Informant further says that at the time the said George Gammon< no role >
[..] the said Gold Watch from the said John Murphy< no role > he asked the said John
[..] what the Gentleman said to him when he took the Watch from him to
[..] Murphy answered that the Gentleman said he had almost rather love his Life
[..] his Watch and that Murphy said Live and get another Watch
