The Information of Charles Deacon< no role >
Servant to Joseph Paste< no role > of Islington
Dustman taken before me this 2d. day
of April 1788

Who being upon Oath says that about half an Hour
past ten o'Clock in the Night of Wednesday the 26th. day
March last he was called up by his Mother who
informed him somebody at the Door wanted a Cart
that Informant get up and went down and opened
the Door where he saw the person now present who
calls himself Edward Meyrick< no role > who told this
Informant he wanted to Cart to go to Edgware That
Informant harnessed a Horse and put it in a
last when said Meyrick directed Informant to go
The Turnmill Street to the Crib which Informant
did that they took up the person now present who
calls himself George Woodward< no role > and fix in thence
they proceeded to Edgware that when they got
a little below Edgware Bridge said Meyrick
and Woodward get out of the Cart and desired this
Informant to turn about the Cart which he did
and in a very short time after said Meyrick
and Woodward brought the Sugar now produced
and put it into the Cart and desired Informant
to go on and they would follow that Informant
went forward towards London when he was
stopped by Jacob Lyne< no role >
