in and for the County of Middlesex
this 21st. Day of April 1788
Who being upon Oath say And first the said Ann Field< no role >
for herself says that on Saturday last about Nine
o' Clock at Night Two Men now present who calls
themselves Richard Ling< no role >
and George Fletcher< no role >
came into her shop in Russell Court aforesaid
when the said George Fletcher< no role >
asked this Deponent
if she had a Second Hand Shirt to sell, to which
she answered Yes, she asked who it was for and
Fletcher said it was for himself, upon which she told
him her Linen was very large and not fit for him,
upon he desired her to shew him what shirts she had
this she refused to do, upon which the said George
Fletcher< no role >
laid hold of a Silk Gown (now produced)
which was hanging behind the Shop Door pull'd
it down and ran away with it, and the said Richard
Ling< no role >
also ran away with the said George Fletcher< no role >
And the said Charles Jealous< no role >
for himself
saith that soon after the above Robbery he received
Information that three Men who were supposed to
have committed the same, were gone into a Court
in Drury Lane
call'd Nags head Court, that he went
into a house there kept by Mrs. Murphy and in [..]
the Back Room two Pair of Stairs he saw the said

and also a person who calls himself William
