the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and <lb></lb>

<p n="627"> Who on h er Oath saith,<lb></lb>
That she <rs type="occupation" id="LMOBPS45034_occ153">keeps a Shop</rs>

& that this afternoon two Men came in a Chaise and<lb></lb>
asked for a pair of Childs. Shoes & also for some<lb></lb>
Stockings, both of which she shewed them but they<lb></lb>
did not approve of either. And this Informant says<lb></lb>
that they then asked her if she could charge<lb></lb>
a Guinea & beleiving she could, took from her Pocket<lb></lb>
a Parcell of Silver she had there, & also two Guineas<lb></lb>
which were mixed therewith, & holdg. the same in her<lb></lb>
Open hend said "There is a bad Shilling amongst<lb></lb>
them." upon which one of the aforesaid Persons, (who called<lb></lb>
himself <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45034_n627-1">John Gray</rs>

carried away one of this Informants. Guineas That<lb></lb>
she immediately discovered the Loss & carried Pursuit to<lb></lb>
be made, & having come up with them in the Parish<lb></lb>
of Wilsden they were brought back to <rs type="placeName" id="LMOBPS45034_geo378">Hendon</rs>

the Guinea he had so taken away & is possitive it<lb></lb>
is the same she had in her hand, for it was a hight<lb></lb>
one & had a black Speck on the head, by which Mark<lb></lb>
she can Possitively swear it is the same she so lost.</p>
