The Information of Benjamin Hodgson< no role > of
No. 31 Tooley Street< no role > Southwark in the
County of Surrey Hatter taken before me
this 16th. day of October 1788

Who being upon Oath saith that this Evening [..]
about 8 o Clock as he was going up the two Shilling
Gallery of Covent Garden Theatre two Guineas and
about six or Seven Shillings in Silver was feloniously
Stolen out of his left hand Breeches pocket by a
Man who stood close to him on his leftside
That when said Man had drawn this Informants
Pocket out and taken his Money out this Informant
seized his Hand, when said Man gave this Informant
a Violent Blow on his Right [..] eye and then
Ran down Stairs and was afterwards Secured
by Alex and or Bayson now present
