Who Sayth and Declareth upon his Corporall Oath
That about June last past hee reced A Goldsmiths Bill
at Sr. Fancis Child for Two hundred Guineas made
payable to this Depont. onlys and that missing the same, and
not knoweing as that was become thereof, hee this Depont.
in Some Short time after went to the sd. Sr . Francis Childs< no role >
to put a Shipp thereto, where hee was Informed by [..]
Mr. Robert Childs< no role > that the Said Bill was already paid
to one Sr . William Rewsby< no role > , upon which this Depont. desird
to see the said Bill, wch. being thereupon pduced hee found
his name [..] falcely endersee on the back of the said
Bill, by virtue of which Informt. th said Sr. William
Rewsby< no role > receive the Value of htis Deponts. said Bill, and
this Informt. further Deposeth that the said Endersement
on the said Bill and receiving the value thereof by the said
Sr. Wm Rersby< no role > by virtur thereof as aforesd. was done without
the privity knowledge or Consent of this Depont. in any wife
nor Soever
