Mr. Greene6th March 1700

I should have invited on you but am not able and
must therefore beggs the favour of you to goe to Mr
Tranner in the matter following my brother Capt
Lawrence Kock by a Negro boy yt [..] Seene
who was made drunke by a Seaman or two &
P Swarded to you to a Gold Smiths Mr. Oysoe in
Lumbard Streete to Prtend to buy Eareings &
remove away with them (& they would Stand by
him) wch he did was taken unwitted to Bridewell
& had ye Correcon of ye house after wch her
told in Courte that ye Constable who had him in
custody tooke away from him 5s in money &
a gold Eearing of his Mars. this caused may
brother un Munday to goe to ye Constable
one Guy belonging to ye Bridge house
Ward & demand the things upon wch he goe
wth him before Jeffreys Sweard he had
Charged him with felony & Attambled
him upon wch ye Knt. bound my brother
Over to ye Sessins & One Henry Lane< no role > at ye
White Hart in Archery Lane Victualler &
Nathan Pines< no role > in St Mary Archcery Lane
became his Bugle my brother is Comandr
of a Fore Shipp & gone to Portsonable by
expresse Ordr. of ye £10 of the Adviseably &
