Whereas it appears unto us whose hands and Seales are hereunto
Sett Two of her Maties Justices of the Peace for this City &
Libties thereof (Quor unus) upon the Complaint of the
Church Wardens & Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of
All Hallows on London wall within the Limits aforesaid That
one Margarett Brittain< no role > Widdow of Ralph Brittain< no role > Cordwainer
lately Deceased is come lately in to the said Parish Endeavouring
to Settle herselfe there without giveing notice in writeing to the
sd. Church Wardens or Overseers of the Poor or any one of
them as by Law is required And is become Chargeable to the said
Parish And Whereas it appears unto us the said Justices upon
the due Examinacon of Rachell< no role > the wife of Richard White< no role >
of the Parish of St James Clerkenwell in the County of Middx
Cordwainer upon Oath That the said Ralph Brittain Served his
Apprenticeshipp in the Parish of St. Benedict within this City with
one John Brittain< no role > Cordwainer since Deceased (who was his Brother
and the then husband of the said Rachell) Which is about Thirty
Yeares since to the best of Her Remembrance and it not appearing
unto us that the said Ralph Brittain in his life time or the said
Margarett since his Decease hath obtained any other legall settlemt.
since the time of the Apprenticeshipp of the said Ralph Wee
the said Justices Doe therefore Adjudge the said Parish of St.
Benedict to be the place of the [..] last legall Settlement of
her the said Margarett Brittaine< no role >

These are therefore in Her Maties. Name Strictly to Charge & Require
you the Church Wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
All Hallows on London Wall some or one of you on Sight hereof To
Remove & Convey the Body of the said Margarett Brittain< no role > out of
yor. said Parish unto the sd. Parish of St. Benedict and her Deliver unto
the Church Wardens & Overseers of the Poore there or to some of
them whoe are hereby Required her to Receive and provide for
As Occasion shall Require untill They shall be of Her Discharged
by Due Course of Lawe And for soe doing This shall be your Warrant
