Carpenter
severally make Oath as follows and first the said Thomas
Willet for himself saith that on or about the thirteenth day of
June last he caused three several Writs of Subpoena to Issue
out of the Crown office in the about prosecution And this
Deponent further saith that
Edward Hudson< no role >
and
Edward Farrell< no role >
both of Deptford
in the County of Kent
are Material Witnesses on
the part of the prosecution and without whose Testimony this
Deponent is advised and verily believes the prosecutor cannot
with safety proceed to the Trial of this Indictment And the
Deponent John Hazay for himself saith that he hath served
several Witneses on the part of the prosecution in this Indictment
and hath frequently for upwards of a Month last past attempted
to serve the said

Subpoenas but without effect the said

keeping
himself secreted for fear of being served with such subpoena as
he is informed and believes and which said

this Deponent Subpoenaed to attend the Trial of this
Cause Indictment last
Session And this Deponent further saith that he did on the
Twenty fifth day of June last serve a true Copy of a Subpoena
(which appealed to this Deponent to be regularly issued out of the
Crown office in this prosecution) on the said

on
board of his Majesty's Yacht the Augusta (in which said
Yacht sailed the three princes for Hanover) but the Captain
refused to let the said

go on Store and the said
Edward Farrell< no role >
is now on his Voyage on board the said
Yacht and which said Yacht with the said
Edward Farrell< no role >
is expected home in about a Month as this Deponent is
