for the more effectual Suppressing and preventing the
Abuses aforesaid, And it is further recommended to the
Said Justices to prevent or Suppress as far as in them lies
all tipling and Selling of Liquors in any unlicensed House
Booth Shed or Place in the Said Parish And it is
further Ordered by this Court that this Order be forthwith
printed and published in one or more of the publick News
-Papers and that printed Copies of the Same Order be
also posted up in proper Places for the better Notification
thereof.

Upon the humble Petition of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Clement Danes in
this County exhibited unto this Court Setting forth That
Jane Slawter< no role > Singlewoman a Vagrant not having a
Settlement in the Said Parish of St. Clement Danes , was
on the twenty fourth Day of May last taken up in the
Strand in the Said Parish in labour and was on the Same
Day delivered of a Male Bastard Child in the Same
Parish, by means whereof the Inhabitants of the Said
Parish were obliged necessarily to expend the Sum of
two Pounds and eleven pence for the lyeing in and
Maintenance of the Said Jane Slawter< no role > and Child, And
that in pursuance of an Act of Parliament made in the
Seventeenth year of his present Majesty's Reign Intitled
An Act to amend and make more effectual the Laws
relating to Rogues Vagabonds and other idle and
