The Informacon of Ann Jackson< no role > of Edmonton in the said
County Spinster taken upon Oath before me Joshua Galliard< no role > Esqr
one of his Maties Justices of the peace for the said County the
26th. day of May Anno Dui 1698.

The said Ann Jackson< no role > maketh Oath That or ye 25th. of the instant May
about 10. or 11. before noon She (together wth many other psons) being
weeding in a feild called ye Hide in Edmonton aforesaid did sd Elizabeth
Hales
< no role > [..] wife of Thomas Hales< no role > (as she saith) going corsse part
of ye said feild holding up her Coat full of things, who enquired ye way
to Tottenham And that she this Informant wth [..] found of the
other weeders knowing a poor neighbour of theirs to be lately robbed and
suspecting ye said Elizabeth Hales< no role > to have some stoln goods searched her
Coat & there found one hat made of shavings, two gownes & two
petticoats & many peices of linnen Cloth And this Informant, well knowing ye
hat & one of ye gownes & some of ye linnen to be ye goods of Thomasin
Darnell
< no role > of Edmonton aforesaid widow, apprehended her & brought her to
a Constable.
