within the Said County of Midlx And to the Churchwardns.
And Overseers of the Poore of the parish of St. Clement
Danes in ye Said Liberty and County And to every of

Whereas it appears unto [..] whose hands and Seales are hereunto
Sett two of her Maties, Justices of the Peace for the Said County of Midlx
and Citts & Liberty of Westmr . (Quorum unus) by the Complaint of the
Churchwarden's and Overseers of the Poore of the Said parish of St. Mary
Savoy that Ann Kempe< no role > with two Children (Viz) Mary Kempe< no role >
aged about Six Yeares and a halfe and Ann Kempe< no role > Aged about
Five Yeares are lately intended and come into the Said parish of St. Mary
Savoy endeavouring to Settle themselves there without giving notice
in Writing to the Churchwardens or Overseers of the Poore of the Said
parish or any of them of the house of their aboade According to the
Statute in that case made And it appearing to be the Said Justices that
they are in Some Measure become chargeable to ye, Said parish of St.
Mary Savoy and are likely to become further chargeable if not Speedily
removed And alsoe by ye Examinacon of the Said Ann Kempe< no role > Upon
her Oath is further Appears to be that She the Said Ann Kempe< no role > is
ye wife of Joseph Kempe< no role > an Upholster an who lately went away from
her and that the last Legall Settlement of the Said Joseph Kempe< no role >
(husband of ye Said [..] and father of the Said Mary & Ann Kempe< no role > )
is in the parish of St. Clements Danes within the Liberty of Westmr
where about Six Yeares and a halfe Since he became a Settled
Householder at ye Rent of Fifteen pounds P Ann in Clements Lane and Soe continued
about Six Months and has not had any Legall Settlemt S [..]
These are therefore in her Maties, name to will and require You upon
Sight hereof to Remove and Convey the Said Ann Kempe< no role > (with her
two Children Mary and Ann Kempe< no role > ) from the Said parish of St. Mary
Savoy the next and directest way to the Said parish of St. Clement Danes
and Deliver them Unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore
there who are hereby required to provide for them as the Law directs
Given Under our hands and Seales this 10th day of December
Anno Dm 1705 .
