Whereas By an act of Parliament made in the twelfth Year of her late Majties <lb></lb>
regin Intituled an act for granting to her Majesty dutys upon mall, mum, Cyder,<lb></lb>
and perry for the service of the year One Thousand Seven hundred & thirteen, <lb></lb>
and for makeing forth Duplicates of Lottery Tickells, lost, Burnt or destroyed, <lb></lb>
and for enlargeing the time for adjusting Claimes in severall Lottery acts<lb></lb>
and to punish the Counter feiling, or forgeing, of Lottery ordrs. and for<lb></lb>
Explaining A late act in relation to stamp dutys, on Customary Estates, which<lb></lb>
pass by deed or Coppy, Itt is amongst other things Enacted, that from and after<lb></lb>
the <rs type="date" id="LMSMPS50187_date21">twenty third day of June one Thousand Seven Hundred and thirteen</rs>

and after the duty by the said act imposed on mall, is paid or Secured to be paid<lb></lb>
by the Malster, if any quantity of Mall shall unfortunately happen to be<lb></lb>
destroyed by fire, by the Burning of the Malt house, Granary, or other place,<lb></lb>
where the same shall be made or kept Itt shall and may be lawfull for the<lb></lb>
Proprietor or Proprietors of such malt so Perishing as abovesd. to make proofe<lb></lb>
there of by two Credible Witnesses Upon oath, and of his her, or their, haveing <lb></lb>
paid, or given Security to pay, the said duty before the Justices of the peace<lb></lb>
of the County, Rideing or Division, where such accident shall happen (who are<lb></lb>
thereby impowered to give Certificates under their Hands and Seales of such loss)<lb></lb>
upon produceing of which Certificate to the officer Appointed to Collect the sd duty <lb></lb>
he shall be obliged to repay or allow to the said Proprietor, or Proprietors so much<lb></lb>
of the said duty as shall have been by him paid for the quantity of Malt proved to<lb></lb>
have so perished or been destroyed as abovesd. Now these are hereby to Certifie<lb></lb>
that at this present Generall Quarter Session of the peace holden by adjournment <lb></lb>
at Southwarke this <rs type="date" id="LMSMPS50187_date22">Eighteenth day of May anno Dui 1720</rs>

Upon oath that there was then lately sold to the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50187_n84-4">John Dunmall</rs>

aforesd. and that the duty for the said mall amounting to the Sume of £127:10s:0d<lb></lb>
was paid as the said Act directs, and that the Comrs. of Excise had due notice that the<lb></lb>
said Mr Dunmall and his partners intended to apply to this Court this present <lb></lb>
sessions in ordr to be relieved as the said act directs, But no person appeared <lb></lb>
to oppose the same, given under our hands and Seales this <rs type="date" id="LMSMPS50187_date24">Eighteenth day of<lb></lb>
