the Parish of St. Sepulchres in in
the County of Middx And to
the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Parish
of St. Michael Royal in the City
of London

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose Hands and
Seals are hereunto set, two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middx (Quorum Unus) by the
Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Sepulchres
in ye County aforesaid, That William Mansey< no role > Katherine< no role > his
wife with their three Children Vizt. William< no role > about seven
years old Sarah< no role > about five & Hester< no role > about one year &
half Old have lately come into the said Parish
of St. Sepulchres Middx endeavouring to Settle themselves there as
Inhabitants and are like to be Chargeable thereunto, and
they not having brought any Certificate, nor given Notice in
Writing, nor gained any Legal Settlement therein, pursuant and accord-
ing to the several Acts of Parliament in that behalf made; And whereas
upon the Examination of the said Wm. Mansey< no role > on Oath
we do adjudge the Premises to be true, and that the said Parish of
St. Michael Royal is the Place wherein the said Wm. Mansey< no role > his sd.
wife & three Children were last Legally Settled: These are therefore, in
His Majesty's Name, to Command you the Church-wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Sepulchres Middx forthwith to Remove
the said Willm Mansey< no role > Katherine his wife & their three
Children from the Parish of St. Sepulchres aforesaid
to the Parish of St. Michael Royal aforesaid, (which we
do hereby adjudge to be the Place of their last Legal Settlement)
and deliver them to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
there, or to some or one of them, (together with this Precept, or a true
Copy hereof) who are hereby required to receive and provide for them
as legall Settled Inhabitants there, until they shall be discharged
according to Law,

Given under our Hands and Seals, the Eighth
Day of November Anno Dom 1720
