County of Middx

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of St George
Botolph Lane London

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a pass Warrant under the hands & Seals of Sr
Isaac Tillard< no role > Knt & Alexandr Pitfeild< no role > Esqr two of his Maties Justices of
the peace for the County of Middx (Quor unus) bearing Date
the 15th day of February Inst 1723 . John Chambers< no role > aged abt twelve
Years & Sarah Chambers< no role > aged abt Nine or ten Years the Lawfull Issue of
John Chambers< no role > who is not to be found were Sent and delivered by the Church Wardens
& Overseers of the poor of the Hamlett of Bethnall Green in the
County of Middx unto the Church Wardens & Overseers of the
poor of the parish of St George Botolph Lane London alledging
the sd parish to be the place of their last Legal Settlemt

That your Petitionr conceive themselves aggrieved
by the Sd Warrt & Judgmt of ye sd two Justices and
do most humbly Appeal to your Worps. therefrom

Your Petitionrs therefore most humbly
pray your Worps will be pleased to
Appoint a day in this present Sessions for
hearing the Sd Appeal and that the
Churchwarden & Overseers of ye poor of ye
Sdparish Hamblet of Bethnall Green
& all other parties concerned may then
Attend to hear & abide the determinacon
of the Court touching the Sd Appeal

And they Shall ever pray Etc.
