Justices of ye peace for ye City & Liberty
of Westmr. ye 5th: Day of July 1747

Who saith That on yesterday the 04.07.1747fourth day of ye. Instant
July about five o'Clock in ye morning he did take away
from out of ye Yard of Alexander Rouchhead< no role > in North
Audley Street one peece of white & vein'd Marble, about
four Foot long, & ten Inches wife & one other Peece of
Statuary Marble about Two Foot three Inches long, &
abt 10 Inches wife & yt He carry'd ye above mentioned
Peeces to a Brokers Shop near Turn Style in Holbourn
where he Sold them for one shilling a six pence & on
ye Evening of ye same Day did came again to ye said Yard
Stock, & carry'd away anoth [..] Ps of Statuary mar [..]
three Foot long & ten Inches wide wch he was detected
in carrying off.
