The Humble Petition of Frances Blandy< no role >

Sheweth


That by Indenture of apprentiship bearing date
the 28th day of June in the Year 1742 Yor. Petr. was
bound apprentice by the Church wardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Andrew Holborn above
the Barrs in the said County to Robert Lane< no role > of the
Parish of St. James Westmr. Leather Dresser to
Serve his said Master until he should attain the
Age of Twenty four Years.

That about Eighteen months since Yor. Petrs. said
Master fail'd & went away by Night from his
Habitacon and took Yor. Petr. with him as far
as Newcastle where he left Yor. Petr. without any
Person to take care of him, And Yor. Petr. was
almost Starved before he could get back to Town
to his Mother with whom he hath her ever since

That Yor. Petr. cannot learn where his sd. Master
is gone to but believes he is in some part of Scotland
& there being no Probability of his Return Yor.
Petr. will be inevitably ruined unless Discharg'd
from his said Master

Yor. Petr. therefore humbly prays
that yor. Worships will be pleased
to discharge him from his said
apprentiship

And Yor. Petr. shall ever pray Etc.
