1761. in the first year of the Reign of
King George the Third.
It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer
of this County do pay to Mr. James
Sturges Adams< no role >
four Pounds three Shillings &
Six Pence for Subsitance of Vagrants since
the last Session And that the Receipt of the
Said. Mr. Adams together with this Order shall
be a sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer
for such payment.
