Exhibited their Petition and Appeal Setting forth that by Virtue of a Pass Warrant

being of the Quorum) bearing date on the twenty eight day of May one thousand
seventy hundred and seventy eight Mary Mackentear< no role >
the Wife of Edward Mackentear< no role >
a Sailor
belonging to his Majestys Ship the Action and her Infant Child were removed
from the Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel
in the County of Middlesex
aforesaid to the
Parish of Saint Faith under Saint Pauls
in the City of London
aforesaid as the Place of
last legal Settlement of the said Mary Mackentear and her said Instant Child [..]
Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrived Now upon [..]
the said Appeal in the presence and hearing of the Churchwardens and Overseers
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel
and they conecting by their
Counsel to the allowing the said Appeal It is Ordered that the said Appeal [..]
and the same is hereby allowed and the said Pass Warrant or Order of the said [..]
Justices hereby vacated and set abide And it is further Ordered that the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Faith under Saint Pauls
London do forthwith Convey and deliver back the said Mary Mackentear and
her said Instant Child, To get her with a Copy of this Order) unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel
or to some or one of
them who are hereby required to receive and Provide for the said Mary Makentear
and her said Instant Child until they can free themselves from the [..]

Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel
or some or one of the
fothwith do pay or cause to be paid unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Faith under Saint Pauls London some or one of them [..]
four Shillings and Six pence fro then charges and expences in relieving and
maintaining the said Mary Mackentear and her said instant Child [..]
their said Removal.
