Oath for himself Saith That he is [..]
the Bail for the Defendant in this Cause [..]
And also Saith that in Order to have given
the said Prosecutor Notice of Tryal in this Cause
for this present Session this Deponent went
on Tuesday last to the House of Hannah
Grierson
< no role > the Wife of said Prosecutor in King
Street Wapping And enquired of her if she
could give this Deponent any Intelligence of her
Husband who then Informed this Deponent
that the last time she heard where he lier [..]
that he Lodged at one Mr. Humphries [..]
in Red Lyon Yard Grays Inn Lane Wh [..]
Deponent went and was Informed by [..]
Humphries that said Gavin Grierson< no role > [..]
with them but had quitted their House about [..]
or Six Weeks since but where he was gone or
was to be found they could not tell And further
Saith that he this Deponent hath made several
other Inquiries after said Prosecutor in order to
have given him such Notice of Tryal but could
not find out where he now lives or is to be found
