WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto us, two of
His MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace in and for the
County of MIDDLESEX (one whereof being of the
Quorum) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. LUKES , in the said County, That
Catherine Heyborne< no role > Wife of Richard
Heyborne
< no role > (who is gone away and left
her) and her two Children namely
Rebecca < no role > aged about three Years and
John < no role > aged about one Year and an half
have
lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle there,
contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the said Justices,
and we do adjuge that they are likely to become charge-
able to the said Parish; and upon Examination of the said
Catherine Heyborne< no role > taken upon oath,
it further appeareth unto us, and we do likewise adjudge, that
the Parish of Saint Mary Aldermary in the
City of London
is the Place of the last legal Settlement of the Said Catherine
Heyborne and her said two Children
These are therefore in his MAJESTY'S Name to Charge and
Command the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of St. LUKE , forthwith to remove and convey the said
Catherine Heyborne and her said
two Children
from the said Parish of St. LUKE , to the said Parish of
Saint Mary Aldermary and deliver them to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some
or one of them, who are hereby required to provide for them
according to Law. GIVEN under our Hands and Seals
the 27th Day of August 177 9

To the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the respective Parishes
of St. LUKE, in the County of MID-
DLESEX, and Saint Mary
Aldermary in the City of London
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
