UPON the Complaint of the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Finchley
in the County of Middlesex unto us whose Names
are hereunto set, and Seals affixed, being two of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County of Middlesex
and one of us of the Quorum, that
Catharine Need< no role > Singlwoman
aged Sixteen years
did lately come to inhabit in the said Parishof Finchley
not having gained a legal Settlement there, not
produced and Certificate owning her to be settled else.
where, and that the said
Catharine Need< no role > is become
[..] chargeable to the said
Parish of Finchley We the said
Justices upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon the Examination
of the said Catharine Need upon Oath,
as otherwise, and likewise upon due Consideration had of the Premises
do adjudge the same to be true; and we do likewise adjudge, that the
lawful Settlement of her the said Catherine
Need
< no role > is in the Parish ofSaint Allhallows
on [..] the Wall in the City of London
aforesaid
is in the saidof [..]
ofWe do therefore
require you the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Finchley or some or
one of you to convey the said
Catharine Needs< no role >
from and out of your said Parish of Finchley
to the said Parish of [..] Allhallow on [..] Wall and her
to deliver to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
to some or one of them, together with this our Order, or a true Copy
thereof. And we do also hereby require you the said Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of [..] Allhallows [..] [..] Wall
[..] to receive and provide for her as Inhabitant of your
Parish Given under our Hands and Seals the 10th.
Day of December in the Year of our Lord One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty five.
