On Appeal touching the Settlement of
John Tindall< no role >

Brief for the Appellants

John Tindall< no role > was by Virtue of an Order of two Justices
dated the 15th day of February instant removed from the Parish of
Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex to the Parish
of Saint Anne within the Liberty of Westminster in the said County
as the Place of his last legal Settlement But upon Examination
of the Pauper and further Enquiry it appears

That he rented a House in Greek Street in the Parish
of Saint Anne Westminster about Nineteen years ago
and paid £35 by the year rent (upon which the Order
of Removal in founded) that upon Quitting the same
he removed to a House known by the Sign of the City
of Durham in Swallow Street in the Parish of Saint
James Westminster which he rented and in which he
lived upwards of Two Months and agreed to pay £30
by the year rent.
