Thomas Atwood< no role > of King Street in the Parish of
Saint Paul Covent Garden in the County of Middlesex
Mans Mercer< no role > and Thomas Vennor< no role > Clerk to William
Fletcher
< no role > of Hyde Street in the Parish of St. George Bloomsbury
in the said County Gentleman Sollicitor for the Defendant
severally make Oath and say And first the said Thomas
Atwood
< no role > for himself saith that he hath made frequent
Inquires after the present Place of Abode of the Prosecutrix
(the same being unknown to this Deponent in order to have
her served with Notice of Trial in this Prosecution and this
Deponent saith that he has not been able to discover her
present Place of Abode but learn't that the last Place of
Abode of the Prosecutrix was at a Mr. McCarts, the
keeper of a Wine Vaults near Temple Barr And this
Deponent further saith he has not been able to find the
Prosecutrix to serve her with Notice of Trial And this
Deponent the said Thomas Venner for himself saith
That he did on the Thirtieth day of June last leave
