his Wife indicted with Richard Perkins< no role > on
the Prosecution of Christopher Brown< no role > for
an Assault and false Imprisonment.

James Ribbons< no role > of George Street Black Train Road in the County of
Surrey Gentleman John Challenor< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. of Plough Court Fetter Lane
London Gentleman and Robert Goldspring< no role > Clerk to Messrs. Feild Brown
and Feild Solicitors for the Defendants in this Cause severally make
Oath and first the said James Ribbons< no role > for himself saith that on Monday
last he went to the House of Mr. Brown Father of Christopher Brown< no role >
Situate near the Wheatsheaf Edgware Road near Paddington in the County of Middlesex
where the said Prosecutor resides as this Deponent is informed and
believes in order to serve the said Christopher Brown< no role > with the Notice
here to annexed when he saw a Person whom he believes to be the said
Christopher Browns Mother who told this Deponent her Son was not
within but she would call her Husband and that presently the said
Prosecutors Father came to the Door who upon being told by this deponent
he had a Notice for his Son say'd he knew nothing about his Son and
immediately shut the Door in this Deponents Face And this Deponent
previous to his going to the House inquired at several Publick Houses in
the neighbourrhood for the said Christopher Brown< no role > in order to serve him
with the said notice without Effect And this Deponent John Challenor< no role > This name instance is in a workspace.
for himself saith that on Tuesday last he went to a Publick Cause in the Hay Market [..]
[..] for the purpose of serving the said Christopher Brown< no role >
the So with the said notice and shewed and read the same to the said
Christopher Browns Father when the said Mr. Brown told this Deponent
that his said Son was at Aylesbury and would return in about ten Day
or a fortnight and this Deponent on the same Day inquired of a Person in
the Neighbourhood after the said Christopher Brown< no role > who told this Deponent
that he was out of the way on Account of some Law Suit And this
Deponent Robert Goldspring< no role > for himself saith that on Wednesday last he
went to several Publick Houses in the Neighbourhood which the said
Christopher Brown< no role > attends as this Deponent hath been informed and
beleives to inquire for the said Christopher Brown< no role > in Order to serve him
with the said Notice but could not find the said Christopher Brown< no role > at either
of them whereupon this Deponent on the same Wednesday went to the
House fo Messr. Fletcher and Nicholls in Gerrard Street Soho Solicitors
for the Prosecutors in this Cause and left true Copy of the said
notice there And this Deponent called again on the same Day when
he saw Mr. Fletcher and desired to know whether he would accept such
