John Floud< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County the 21st day
of May 1795.

Who upon his Oath saith that he is a Labouring Man
and Works for Mr Young a Scavenger in Brick Lane
Spitalfields . That his Place of Settlement is in the
Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch which be gained
by renting a House in Hoxton Town in the said Parish
at the Rent of Ten Guineas per Annum And that
since he left his wife and Child in the said Parish
he has resided in the parishes of Bethnal Green
and Whitechapel

of Saint Leonard Shoreditch

said Husband William Fanning< no role > on or about the 6th.
say of October last can away and left her and her Child
in the said Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch whereby
they are become chargeable to the said Parish And this
Examinant William Hawes< no role > on his Oath saith that the
said Rachel Fanning< no role > and her Child have received
Relief as Paupers of the said Parish and they are now
maintained at the Expence of the said Parish
