the Places Particularly specified in the said Act and which had been Paved by
virtue of and in Pursuance thereof but in the contrary the said Alley wherein the
said Sail Lost Warchouse and Premises were situate had not been New Paved
under any Provision of the said Act but remained as it were Previous to passing
the said Act which exempted him from any Rate or Assessment whatsoever: whereby
the Petitioner conceived himself aggrieved: which said Appeal stood duty adjourned
until this day Now upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath been alledged by
the respective Parties their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the Premises

It is Ordered that so much of the said Rate or Assessment As concerns the said
Joseph Brown< no role > for and in respect of the said Sail Lost Warchouse and Premises
in the said Petition and Appeal mentioned be and the same is hereby Quashed.
