We have been acquainted by Mr Treasurer<lb></lb>
That pursuant to the Resolution of the General<lb></lb>
Court held 15th July 1741 whereby it was referred to<lb></lb>
him in Conjunction with the Treasurers of<lb></lb>
St Bartholomew's & Bethlem Hospitals to treat<lb></lb>
& agree in the best manner they could with the<lb></lb>
Executors of <rs type="occupation" id="LMTHMG55302_occ1331">Captn</rs>

Kin touching any Doubt that might arise upon<lb></lb>
his Will or the Charitable Legacy's thereby devised<lb></lb>
to the Poor of the said Hospitals. That they had come<lb></lb>
to an Agreement That the Hospitals should receive<lb></lb>
their respective Legacy's of £2,000. £2,000 & £1,000<lb></lb>
And that the Residuary Estate (which by his Will was<lb></lb>
given to the three Hospitals equally) should be divided<lb></lb>
into four equal Parts one part whereof should be for<lb></lb>
the Benefit of his two Sisters the next of Kin, And<lb></lb>
that it being necessary to have the said Agreements<lb></lb>
confirmed by the Court of Chancery, A Bill<lb></lb>
had been brought for that purpose, In Consequence<lb></lb>
whereof Mr Treasurer has received the Legacy of<lb></lb>
£2,000 given to this Hospital, and the said<lb></lb>
Agreement with Respect to the Residue of the <lb></lb>
Estate has been confirmed</p>

We having desired Mr. Treasurer to<lb></lb>
purchase £5000 in the three P Cent Annuities for the<lb></lb>
Year 1744 for the use of this Hospital. Mr Treasurer<lb></lb>
has accordingly purchased the same at 92 in the name<lb></lb>
of the President & Treasurer of the Hospital</p>
