upon the Mud with her face downwards on the outside<lb></lb>
of the Water Works, in the Bed of the River Thomas Says<lb></lb>
the Tide then Ebbed and the Deced was left there by the<lb></lb>
water as Dept. believes, Says that he went away and<lb></lb>
returned there in about half and hour when he found<lb></lb>
that the Deced had been pulled to the Shore on the in<obscured></obscured>

of the Water Works, Says that the Deced<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

Dead but that he did not touch her. nor did he observe<lb></lb>
any Marks of Violence upon her And that he did not<lb></lb>
know the Deced, but believes that she was Drowned in<obscured></obscured>
